About this Costume
Construction Details:
The top was found at Goodwill and altered to work for the character. I made the pants and I am so in love with them. The bracelets are cheap 80's Halloween bracelets taped together on the inside and painted gold, since I have small arms they work for me. The necklace is clear pvc tubing with gold paint poured in the tubes. The gem is cast from resin. The wand was a cheap $1 wand from the Dollar Store with the end removed. I used paper clay to build up the base and painted it gold. The gem at the end of the wand is cast from resin out of a mold I made.rnrnI am in the current process of remaking the bracelets to be a little more accurate in some aspects. I am going to wear the new ones to Sak 2014 and see how they go.
Personal Thoughts:
I really love Judal. I always seem to connect the best with the crazy characters. The costume is a blast to wear and I can't wait to get our Magi group together. This has to be one of my favorite cosplays. It is very comfortable and easy to put on.

Styling Notes
I got one of the pre-made Judal wigs off ebay. When I got the wig it had little balls of netting stuffed with hair on the inside to give it the shape but there wasn't enough hair on the outside to keep them from falling out and I was worried that if I wore the costume to a con that I would love some of the balls. I went to Sally's Beauty Supplies and bought some cheap black pony tail extensions (they were about $3 a piece) and added them to the pony tail and tied them off. I used the gold ribbon to hide the string. I was thinking about coloring the gold ribbon black but I decided to leave it. The base wig is great I love it.
Wig Review
When I got the wig I would say it was probably a 2-3. After adding more extensions to the braid it is a lot better and holds its shape very well. I still need to touch up the hair spray and trim the fly-aways after wearing it though.
