Construction Details:

The leaves on the corset are all hand sewn(which seemed to take eternity)and the necklace and panel skirt decorations are all hand beaded. The skirt is adorned with hydrenga petals. The wings are also hand made with bejeweled branches and palm fronds.

Personal Thoughts:

My yard inspired this green beauty. We live in Charleston on 30 wooded acres with lush swamp land & beautiful wild palms. Our area is quickly being developed & I wanted to create a fairy that lives, plays, & now has to protect the forest & its creatures. I am planning to take pictures out in the woods but was so excited to have it finished that i had to submit the pics :}
