Personal Thoughts:

This was the first legit comic costume I did. Thor doesn't really count because it was a genderbend thing.
I've wanted to do comic based costumes for a long time, but I didn't think I had the body to really pull it off. But some close friends were doing an X-men thing and so I finally just did it, even though I thought I would look terrible in spandex. But I actually looked okay.

What I really loved about this is that my dad and I were able to construct an actual clear/see-through sword that glows.

I picked Magik because I like her a lot but also because I wanted to use my own hair. But then clip-on bangs didn't work and I had to get a wig which kind of sucked, but oh well.
