Construction Details:

The dress is made from "Blue Radiance" Casa satin and the top portion is lined. I altered a basic strapless dress pattern for the dress. The bow is made out of craft foam covered in the same fabric as the dress. The hair bow is made from "Cornflower" blue Casa lining fabric. Sara made her own earrings and "boob bling" jewel, which I then accidentally glued to the bow instead of the top of the bodice. This will be fixed before we wear these costumes again.

Costume made for my cosplay teammate Sara for a photo shoot with Ger Tysk for her upcoming book "Breaking All the Rules: Cosplay and the Art of Self-Expression".

Styling Notes

The base wig had extensions added to it for Ranma's trademark braid and the bangs are teased to add some extra volume. There are then 2 curly clip in pigtails added to the back to get the look that Ranma has in the movie.

Wig Review

The fit and color of the wig are fantastic. The bangs didn't really want to puff up, no matter how much teasing we tried to do.
