Construction Details:

Oh, the jacket. I had to use a vintage 1970s pattern and pretty much modify the entire thing. Had to add darts, take it in, and have the fun task of refitting the sleeves to a smaller arms eye. It was a bitter fight, but in the end it turned out really well.

Made the jacket, shorts, and vest (which is hiding under everything). Jacket has sloping tails to match original design of Spy. Painted an old watch for my Cloaker, bought/painted a Halloween mask, bought the white button up shirt, tie. Had the shoes, gloves, flower, and the socks. Spycicle was a Halloween prop.

Personal Thoughts:

I was asked to join a TF2 group by my friend and do a female Spy. I wasn't going to be able to, until I found the perfect fabric for $2 a yard. I needed to keep it inexpensive since my cosplay budget was fairly nonexistent. I was able to pull some pieces from what I already had and bargain hunted for the rest!
