Construction Details:

The yukata was imported from Japan because I simply couldn't find a fabric similar enough to Hotaru's. The obi was made using the same trick we used on my Zakuro cosume [via Taeliac's pre-tired obi tutorial].

Personal Thoughts:

I knew I wanted to cosplay as Hotaru the minute I finished watching Hotarubi no mori e. Luckily, a friend asked if I wanted to cosplay the two main characters at Animazement 2012. Haha.. I definitely jumped at the opportunity!
