Construction Details:

First time using casa satin in a costume. That stuff is amazing! Great weight and sheen to it. Dress pattern is based off a flamenco dress to get the flair at the bottom. The hat base is made of fun foam with the fabrci glued over it. The yellow ribbon is attatched through sewing and heat-n-bond. The hip armor is made with fun foam and wire to get the curve. The crystals are individually molded out of china clay and sanded into a crystal shape. Then glued together and painted to achieve the right effect. The book is constructed with a frosted flakes box for the base, then covered with foam and paint.

Personal Thoughts:

I figured out some things I need to fix with this outfit, before I wear it out again. Like securing the hip armor, and reattatching some things that came loose.
