Construction Details:

This costume grew on me! I had made the main dress only a few days of the con and thank breathlessaire I was able to finish it on time. She helped me with most of the detailing and made the outerskirting <3 In return, I did all makeup for our shots and wig styling for the group. The Utena wigs are custom made with subtle highlights and extra wefting and are cut and styled by me.

Personal Thoughts:

I was never really an Anthy fan but making this costume really changed that. I would have never done Anthy but since my baddus were doing Utena and asked if I wanted to join she was the viable choice, lol. Since we were a mix I decided on the movie version because of the long hair, haha! That and she has a totally different persona in the movie. That and the dress is just gorgeous but was a challenge for sure. My girls are the world to me and without honeystarlightm and breathlessaire this wouldn't have been nearly as fun or accomplished.
