Construction Details:

This costume posed and interesting dilemma since you can't see aspects of it in the one picture of it that exists, so there was a lot of artistic license involved. This was my first time making pants, well only really half a pair of pants since I tore up a pair of black dress pants. The top part was just based off of a basic kimono pattern and the sleeves and headband were drafted. All of the green trim was made by hand. All of the painting was done by hand by our Yuuko.

Styling Notes

My friend Sara styled this wig for me. It involved me sitting very still while she eyeballed the reference image and juggled a can of Got2B hairspray and a pair of scissors.
