About this Costume
Construction Details:
I draped her lab-coat like dress on my dressform and then sewed it out of a white linen-like woven fabric. The collar has a facing. The dress features a yoke and canter back seam in the back and a button plaquette in the front. I constructed the entire dress with flat-felled seams and rolled all the hems so that there were no open edges
The pants were modified from an existing pants pattern, I just shortened the pattern to capris. I made them out a black stretch twill so that I'd be able to move around and do cool martial arts poses with the pants still being fitted. Once again, flat-felled seams and rolled hems. I also added an elastic waistband.
The jacket was made using the pattern I made for my Winry jacket (it's basically the same cut). I made it out of a purple stretch twill and flat-felled all my seams and rolled all my hems.
The shoes were originally tan/brown slide sandals that I purchased at Target and then I painted them purple and added the W.C. logo with acrylic paint.
The wig will be discussed below but this was probably the most intense wig I've ever styled.
I draw the flamel tattoo on with a red lipliner pencil (the same one I use for Tanjiro's scar)
Personal Thoughts:
She's such a cool character and I feel so cool as her

Styling Notes
This wig began as a long curly wig, clearly it took a long time to style. I started by separating out the "dreads" by braiding sections together. I then tested my ponytail and began to work out the dreadlocks by unbraiding each section, teasing them, smoothing them a bit, twisting them tightly, spraying them with water, clamping them in a flat iron, then heavily hairspraying them, clamping them again, and hair drying them to make them hold their shape. I did this 30+ times. Then I left two dreads for the bangs and two for the pieces that hang down from her ears and pulled the rest into a high ponytail slowly and carefully to not change the shape of the cap too drastically. I added a white scrunchy to the base of the ponytail and it was finally done!
Wig Review
Lots of hair to work with for intense styling and very roomy cap.
Plus it was very heat resistant because I put it thorough a lot
