Construction Details:

EDIT: in December 2023 I remade the jacket, undersleeves, added new gold trim to the white shirt, and redid the orange lucky knots and military braid.

I used the Cosplay McCall's Hakama pattern and altered the top for the underlayers and the jacket. The pants were used unaltered. I used a leotard pattern and used my chest binder to decide the length of the black undershirt. I altered a legging pattern to create the shorts underneath. I tied Chinese lucky knots for the embellishments. The heat transfer vinyl pattern was made by Karmada and I cut them on my silhouette cameo 4. They all match up perfectly. The mask STL file is from StellaChuu, printing by Eli Zaborney. I did all the finishing on the mask including three layers of Foam Coat (thanks Cosplay Shop Belgium for the tip), regular and wet sanding and airbrushing. The black sections are decals cut on the silhouette I finished it with a pearl top coat. The mask attaches to the wig with a magnet.

Styling Notes

I originally styled this into a ponytail for the video shoot. It took a beating after hours of filming and 5 hours of car rides. I decided to do something more fun, so I did a pull through braid.

Wig Review

This wig can be worn up or down. I absolutely love it.
