Personal Thoughts:

I *adored* the 2nd Cardcaptor Sakura movie growing up and could once quote the entire thing word for word! I have wanted to make this ballgown since I was 10, and I almost made it the past two years, but backed out due to wanting this costume to be perfect. After nearly two years of having my fabric swatches and patterns picked out, I finally began gathering my materials at the pre-Black Friday sales at Joann's (Satin being 70% off is a beautiful thing indeed!!). Another important factor contributing to this costume was the new CCS anime that aired in 2018 as well as the specific episode that had a flashback to this gown.

Styling Notes

This is the same wig I used for my previous Sakura costume. The pom poms have been removed and the wig now has the ahoge and fluffy bangs!
