Construction Details:

i used a 3d textured fabric as the vest base and a stretchy knit beige for the undershirt and arm bandages. The grey fabric was dyed from originally being white with the belts and cuff being constructed out of craft foam. The pants and shoes were store bought.

Personal Thoughts:

I have become an avid sequel star wars fan over the last couple of months and the first person I wanted to cosplay was rey. Because of the time frame I made this, there was no HD version of Last Jedi released so I had the movie on repeat while trying to figure out how o construct Rey's jedi outfit. It was a challenging project because I wanted to get all the details right between fabric texture and weight. Overall I love the end product and am so exited to cosplay her to many more conventions.
