Personal Thoughts:

I always said I made a terrible Naruto, even when I backpatted myself for not being too terrible when I first cosed him in 2007 for a friend's Anime Boston skit. (Once again, off a loaner costume...noticing a trend here since the last times I did the character before this, it was with ANOTHER lent Naruto costume...which was ALSO done for Bandai-Namco promotions, hahah.)

nI still believed this right up until a conversation with Imari at Anime Central 2015 resulted in me realizing I might make a decent Hokage/Papa!Naruto after all. Laughing it off, I still didn't expect this to become a thing.

nHowever, it did, in fact, become a self-fulfilling prophesy when I was tasked to cover numerous stops on the 2016 Wizard World tour for Bandai-Namco and needed a new outfit to add to the roster, since Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 was a main push but most of my Naruto gear was either in shambles/permanently altered/etc. On a whim I decided to borrow Imari's gear and try this version to match with KIRA*KIRA's Mama!Hinata for the Philadelphia stop.

nGo figure that this was the most comfortable I ever felt being this character, particularly in a year where the aesthetic was "Anime Dads" (see also: Goku, Phoenix Wright). xD;

nOne of the comfiest costumes I've gotten to use for work, Imari's handiwork once again made for a fun time, though wrapping my hand took some getting used to as did figuring out the proper eye pencil (which I never did prior) and consistently doing the whiskers for multi-day use.
