About this Costume
Construction Details:
This was fun but a little titchy to make - I took an H&M henley and cut off the arms and buttons for the top, dyed 4 yards of beige gauze pearl grey and then tan to get that weathered look, and make some linen pants and gave them a light pearl grey dye. The shoes are bootcovers that I made to go over my army boots and the arm covers are athletic tape - it sticks and holds really well throughout the day! The belt and bracer I made with some brown pleather, which was also added to the middle of my staff, which was made with PVC pipe, connectors, linen scraps, and black/grey paint. I also used some purse connectors and leftover canvas to make the strap so I could sling it on my back whenever I wanted to. Overall, this was a fun cosplay and since going to Wondercon I've got ideas to make it even better!
Personal Thoughts:
Made for Wondercon, and definitely going to wear to many many more cons in the future!!!
