Personal Thoughts:

Though I've cosplayed much in the past and I've always put together my own costumes, this was the first costume I made almost completely from scratch. The character and series mean so much to me on an emotional level, and because of this, I was able to push through and create this dream costume of mine despite my motivation troubles and extremely low self-confidence. I had actually stopped cosplaying for two or three years because the depression and social anxiety got so bad.<br /><br />
But Madoka had hope and accomplished what she believed in, even though things looked bleak. Homura kept trying over and over, even though odds were against her. Kyouko got back on track and fought for what she loved to the very end, despite initially losing her way and staying lost for so long. What would have happened if they had just given up? (The writers would be out of a story, I guess - BUT BESIDES THAT XD )<br /><br />
(Sounds totally silly, I know! But this show really is insightful and inspirational. *shameless advertising*)<br /><br />
Anyway, my point is...When it comes to cosplay or anything else, sometimes things are hard, or seem impossible. Sometimes you may think that you are not good enough, or that the world is against you. But regardless of these feelings, if you want to achieve something, keep at it! There is always hope as long as you don't give up. I am rooting for you~!<br /><br />
(Also, apologies for the extreme emotional sappiness. But I felt like this was important to say.)

Styling Notes

Trimmed the bangs, readjusted the pigtails + trimmed & teased/fluffed them, used some leftover fibers to create short wefts for covering the back of my neck. I would like to add Madoka's zigzag part in the future, as well as add some gradients & glitter and color the roots, but that has not been done as of yet...

Wig Review

At first I thought the wig was too small, but it just needed the pigtails to be loosened -- it is actually a bit too large, even on my giant head! XD Keep this in mind when purchasing a Chibi. (I believe Arda now carries a smaller Chibi as well as the standard).
