Construction Details:

For the shirt I customized off a tunic pattern, shortening the sleeves, adjusting the collar for the notch and the overlap.



I used a cotton sateen for the shirt and a not-the-best choice of crepe back gold satin for the edge trim. While the tone and texture was lovely, I did painfully learn a lot about mitering corners with a fabric that had a bit of stretch to it.



The rest of the costume used normal work pants and shoes.

Personal Thoughts:

I made this costume for the fun of hanging out with my friends cosplaying FB. It's a great "night zero" kind of cosplay.

How was the wig colored?

Sharpie method

Styling Notes

Back in the day, I couldn't find the right colored wig to look like the anime hair color. My best option was using the Sharpie method, using my second choice wig style because the first choice didn't come in a light enough color to dye. I used 2 black + 1 purple markers for the mix, and the spraying took over an hour and left a wonderful mess in the bathtub to clean up (but yeah for bleach cleaners, fast clean up!)
