Construction Details:

This costume was pretty simple. The shirt was made with a 1970's Simplicity pattern (7051). I added a red scarf to balance the red of the belt buckle and to make the costume appear a little more "Western." The jean skirt was purchased at Goodwill. I shortened it and used the extra fabric to make the buttons and the "zipper" piece. These were hand sewn on. I then added lace to the skirt. The belt was made out of suede and snaps were used to connect the ends. I purchased a plain wooden apple from Joann's and painted it. I attached a pin on the back so that I could pin the apple buckle onto the belt. The hat was purchased at Boot Barn, the orange tights from Target, and I got the boots from Macy's.

Personal Thoughts:

I love My Little Pony!:) Applejack is one of my favorite ponies.

Wig Review

I may replace the wig if I can't get the bangs to behave how I want them to...I like Epic Wigs better than Arda.
