Construction Details:

Literally this is probably the easiest costume I've ever made?

rnFur cuffs are just 4" fur trim (think like.. Christmast stocking tops) from Hancock with a strip of muslin to line them and make the strip wider (2" on the wrists, 3" on the ankles) with a piece of wide elastic to cinch them to their respective appendage.

rnThe dress is a bright gold/marigold Ponte knit and is p much just a bag. Long rectangle of fabric with the bottom length I needed, sewn up the back and hemmed. Darts put into the top to gather it in and create the drape, and then more fur bits (same method as the cuffs, less the elastic) hand-sewn to the thirds.

Personal Thoughts:

Ugh holy throwback. I'd forgotten how much I adored Escaflowne until I threw in my DVDs while I was working on Yase. It's from back even before my weeaboo days :'D
