Construction Details:

I already owned the pants, and for the shirt, I bought it at a department store, hemmed, and put the symbols on with DIY iron-on transfers. For the shoes, I bought a cheapo pair of canvas shoes at Wal-Mart and painted them with acrylic paint. I primed the areas I was going to paint with white first, and then painted two coats of red on. (They held up pretty well through two days at a con, but definitely need to be spot-washed and re-painted). The tie is a stand-in for the one I will eventually use for real. I'm in the process of making the tie still..I might just go out and buy one to paint though tbh.... D:

Personal Thoughts:

WHOA.
This was a pretty fun costume to pull together, especially for my first cosplay. Even though I didn't exactly finish everything (*cough*tie*cough*), it still got a really good response, and I'm actually pretty proud of it!

Wig Review

Even after 2+ hours on heat in the dye and THEN an entire night in the dye, the fibers were still silky smooth and didn't fall out of the wig or anything.
