Construction Details:

For the hair it is shown to be some sort of leaves/feathers. I cut and styled my actual hair into a mohawk. We dyed it green then attached green feathers to my head.

The main fabric for the kimono top is a cotton satteen that was dyed on the sleeves and bottom of the kimono to give a gradient effect. The border of the kimono top was originally gold that we dyed brown.

The brown fabric that wraps around me was 6 yards of solid cotton fabric. It was hemmed with a rolled hem.

The pants are spandex which we sewed into to make it look like leggings. This was by far the easiest part to make on the costume.

For the shoes I wanted to make this part easy and just wore my own pair of flip flops. Bias tape/trim was purchased for the ankles to look like wraps.

The masks was by far the fun part to make and what makes the character. I didnt want to do all the exact faces that the image had, some of them being fox faces and the like. So I did my own designs, which was the best part in my opinion.

Personal Thoughts:

My girlfriend Dokudel wanted to do a group cosplay for our first Pax East. Along with my friends Cendrillon Cosplay and OO Green Ranger. We all decided on doing Cowslip Pokemon designs.
