Construction Details:

I free-handed the pattern for the dress. I used high performance lycra fabric--it's stretchy and flowy and has a good sheen to it. I glued ostrich feathers and duck feathers to the bottom of her dress to get that feather flow.

All the silvery parts are craft foam covered in mod podge and painted silver.
The necklace is also craftfoam and to attach it I placed velcro in the back.

As for the base of the shawl I used fleece and created a winged shape. Then covered the shawl in over 200 feathers and sewn in 2 boas to the top for the puffy feather bits. I used two elastic bands (also covered in feathers) to hold the shawl up to my body.

I use fashion tape to keep the dress from slipping on my chest bits.

Styling Notes

I used got2be hair glue and hairspray for the initial styling. The rainbowy-bits are holographic vinyl (which is like a sticker) on white craft foam and then sewn directly into the wig. Then with 2 additional wefts I covered the back of the foam with the wig hair.
