Construction Details:

I really wanted the costume to feel more realistic than some other version I'd seen. I opted out of the typical yellow stripes, and used brass plates instead.

Personal Thoughts:

This was my first superhero cosplay. Birds of Prey has always been one of my favorite comics, and I really wanted to bring to life Amanda Conner's design for Black Canary from Gail Simone's run. I even got to meet Amanda Conner at Heroes Con, and she loved my costume!
