Construction Details:

I made the Starfleet shirt from a blue two-way stretch mesh and a ribbon trim, and the undershirt from a thick ponte knit. In retrospect the ponte knit wasn't the best idea - it looked good but was really hard to get over my head without making the opening for the neck really wide. I'll probably remake it with a stretchier fabric next time.


The wig is a cheapo Kiku Honda wig I cut and styled for Spock. The ears are Space Elf Ears from Ardani Costumes (I would highly recommend them!) and the pants and boots are taken from my closet. The Science Division pin was bought off of eBay. We had some trouble with my eyebrows because they're insanely dark and proved really hard to cover up with makeup and flesh latex, but we did our best! I wish I had a slimmer Zachary Quinto Bod but what are you gonna do pffff

Personal Thoughts:

Tekla and I did this even though we already had like five costumes each planned for the son but we wanted Treknanigans so badly it didn't matter we just let it happen
