Construction Details:

I redid quite a few things from the first version.

I got completely new fabric for the white outer kimono. This time I used cotton sateen and did the dyeing with RIT dye. I used satin taffeta for the flowers. I believe I cut out around 2-300? I'm not sure. It took forever to cut them out.

I remade the headdress, this time using insulation foam and attaching both pieces INSIDE the wig, using nails to hold on the insulation foam. I coated the foam with a few coats of superglaze, and then painted it and stuck them onto the nail.

I also remade the "crown",adding a few more details to that.

I made a new flower that was bigger to the front and added the small flower to the back Oiran fan.

I changed how the fan was attached by adding several clips.

I removed the bow and added craft foam to make it more stiff and shrunk it down a bit.

Personal Thoughts:

I've never redone a cosplay before, but I didn't feel like I did this cosplay justice. I'm so happy with the result :D

Styling Notes

This was actually my 3rd wig due to mishaps. I cut the sides in a slope and added a bun to the Oiran fans to make it fancier
