Construction Details:

This dress took little time to make. It's basically a bag with sleeves, haha. I made an extreme A-line to create the look of a baggy, little girl's dress.

The hard part was creating the leaves. After drafting a pattern for them, I cut out some bottom weight fabric and heat and bonded them onto the dress. I had never used heat and bond before, so I ended up ruining my ironing board in the process : You live, you learn, I suppose!

Personal Thoughts:

I made this costume as a comfortable alternative for low stress conventions. It's pretty fun to wear!
