Construction Details:

Sailor Fuku: The main Fuku is made out of Navy and Grey Silk Noil. All the noil was distressed in the washing machine before I cut and sewed it up. The patterning was all drafted for this cosplay.

Accessories: The hand wrap is tea dyed linen that I had lying around, and the neckerchief is a light grey sand washed silk charmeuse that I idyed a dark grey very messily to make it look worn and dirty. The thigh highs I bought at Victoria Secret ;3. Shoes were found on Ebay. The Sageo thread is gold and bought.

Shoulder Harness: The holster is all hand drilled, hand sewn, tanned leather. Boyfriend drafted most of the pattern drafted out, and I used olive oil to tan the leather.

Props: The gun is a 1911a airsoft pistol, Josh took off all the paint and we're in the process of nickel plating the whole gun. The charms were bought from a GREAT Etsy seller The Bird and the Bee. The sword was bought off of ebay and is the 'official replica' of it.

Personal Thoughts:

Have always loved Sucker Punch and always meant to make Baby Doll ever since I saw the first movie!

Styling Notes

I sewed wefts in all along the back for the pigtails using Katie Blair's tutorial, and along the front to create the side part that Baby Doll has.

Wig Review

It was a fun experience but I'm thinking of just replacing the wig with the premade pigtail wig from Arda instead.
