About this Costume
Construction Details:
Old Chell Construction:
Bought a Halloween store "prison" jumper suit thing and hemmed the crotch area a bit lol. Tied it around my waist and called it a day! Ironed on the Aperture logo onto a white tanktop. The boots were a pair of black boots that I painted the white portion on. I cut a long half oval in the middle of each boot and then sewed on black elastic straps. The heels of my boots were sawed off and then we drilled in the flat metal rod into place [it had to be bend before hand by a C-Clamp and lots of pressure]. The gun was not made by me but by my friends Thomas and Will [aka Thinkgeekcosplay] and was fully functional. The boots were also completely functional and a lot more comfortable than it looks.

New Chell Construction:
This costume was actually a lot easier than it looked to make! First off, I bought two tank tops [white and blue] and ironed on the Aperture Science logo to the white one. The jumper I made was made with a lighter orange cotton that I did a tea batch with to darken it up and grunge it a bit [smelled delicious too] and it had all the white trims and details that the Portal 2 jumper had. I also bought a gray waist band they sell for weight loss [?] and cut it shorter to use as the middle portion of the costume haha. The boots were a pair of White Go Go boots that I painted the black details on.
Personal Thoughts:
