Construction Details:

Goodwilled. I found all the essential pieces of clothing I needed for Asami's casual look at my local GW, except the wig of course, and all for just over $20. That place never lets me down! I did need to alter a few things, such as the blazer, which I chopped up at the bottom and hastily proceeded to cut in my own button holes. I also chopped the under layers some just to try and not be so hot in the summer sun.
Used a long wavy black wig from eBay, however, I chopped off more than I would have liked due to nerves while changing into her on Saturday. And sadly, the green circle lenses I ordered didn't come in on time for the con.

Personal Thoughts:

My love for Avatar knows no bounds, so when the highly anticipated Legend of Korra finally came out, it's no surprise I was hooked from beginning to end of season one. I'd been meaning to cosplay a character from the Avatar-verse for a while now, but it just didn't happen (haha). However, following Asami's character on the show, I just instantly knew I had to cosplay her.
