Construction Details:

My friend Lizzard tipped me in constructing the dress, but overall this was pretty much all me guessing how to make everything and following a tutorial or two. My friend Anna trimmed the wig a bit for me. I bought the shoes and socks from Goodwill, and bought my Missile online. I made a pattern from scratch for the small jacket, basing it off of a similarly shaped blouse I had, and roughing it out until it finally started to look okay. I followed a bow tutorial from dA, and just used large, (hopefully) unnoticeable clips to attach it to my wig. That's about all, actually.

Personal Thoughts:

Easy cosplay, but I did have some difficulties; namely what to do with the red decoration on her jacket (which I assumed to be an ascot but everyone else has done a brooch or button so I wasn't sure anymore of what I should do), and making the jacket look decent in general. Fun, easy cosplay, and will definitely wear with my group again! :>

Styling Notes

My friend Aki/Anna had me wear the wig and just trimmed the side fringe to look a little more edgy/short like in the reference photo. That's about all we did, the shade was perfect and the cut was really close to what I needed already!
