About this Prop
Construction Details:
Used the fantastic tutorial by Fullmetal Sam as starting point, bastardized some of the shapes & instructions, designed the bracer based on playing the game too damn much and so on.

Stuff involved: Foamie, liquid snot glue, markers, ridiculous amount of small screws (mostly decorative, couple do control the screen), a boiling tea kettle (heat "molds" foam - yeah, high-tech!), more foamie of varying thickness, a fuckton of glue, fabric scraps & velcro for lining, and paint and even more foamie
All built around very functional screen (no, its not a touch-phone) with about 3 hours of battery life.
Personal Thoughts:
Have never really made anything more complex than a book cover before, so this was a very major project for me

After 3 weeks of hard work, completely amazed self (more by fact haven't put an eye out breaking screws in half) and got many compliments at the con (everyone - you are awesome and my ego thanks you!)

The sheer bulk of it isn't heavy, but it does impede some of the arm use (can't bend... very far... screen gets in way!)
