About this Costume
Construction Details:
The wings are made out of cardboard with layers of resin. The details are made from epoxy sculpt, foam rope, brass rings, beads and puff paint.

The dress I can\'t really talk about much as I really winged it. I\'m not an experienced sewer so this was just sewing blind, some how it worked. I altered a costume pattern for the top and the bottom is a circle skirt.

The harness was a challenge. It is made out of plexiglass that was soften by baking in the oven and molding it to my back. Then baked a couple more times to get the right shape. It rested on a Masonite board that was shaped like my back.

I will be writing a more detailed report of my construction soon!
Personal Thoughts:
The figure is Raquel Gothic, it is a figure that is sold pre-made/colored or as a garage kit.

Here is my write up on construction notes for the costume. It's too extensive to write on here.

I really enjoyed this costume. It is one of my hardest costumes to wear, but I loved every minute of it.
