About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
Bodice patterning done by Rufflebutt. Material hunting also done by Rufflebutt and Mostflogged. I sewed and constructed the costume. I also styled and dyed the wig. Placement of the sequins was the longest and hardest piece of work on this costume.
- Personal Thoughts:
- From start to finish, I loved watching Penguindrum. I was overjoyed when asked to be a part of a Triple-H group with Jessie and Jenni. I had so much fun with my friends and I love how our costumes turned out. I have never worn such a flattering costume before, nor have I been such a sparkly and glamorous pop idol before!
Wig Details
- How was the wig colored?
- FW Ink
- Styling Notes
- Wig was dyed with two coats on FW Ink, using two 16 oz. bottles of rubbing alcohol. Mixed with an Indigo and Black FW Ink mixture. A blended look was the result due to two separate dye layers.
- Wig Review
- The luthien is a beautiful wig to work with. When I combed out the curls it makes for a luxurious look.
