Construction Details:

This cosplay is all made of dark red kona cotton, trimmed with about four full packs of gold colored bias tape. I massively modded two patterns for the top and the chaps --everything above the bust was mainly draped on my dress form. Each tail on the top is reinforced with interfacing and another layer of kona cotton to keep stiff. The gems are resin cast.

The ears are craft fur dyed purple with sharpie ink and alcohol and are sewn around a wire mesh base lined in liquid latex and spirit gummed straight onto my ears to avoid unsightly wires.

I have a matching tail, it's made with several pieces of craft fur pieced together (didn't have time to order faux fur) and dyed with sharpie ink and alcohol, stuffed with polyfill and pinned to the pants. It's pretty large, it's long enough to lightly touch the ground and makes it hard to sit.

Armor is made of paper mache and paper clay, sealed and painted gold and kept on with elastic and sheer luck. Gun is a toy pistol taken apart with the cheap silver parts sanded to give it a tarnished look and the body was painted brown with acrylic paint (the kind that goes on canvas, it gave a nice dark wood texture). The barrel is a plastic plumbing pipe with the designs piped on with caulk, painted turquoise. The gold was achieved with rub n buff.
