Construction Details:

so yeah! yay for another of my one week cosplays. about a week before ALA 2010 I discovered blazblue. I instantly loved Noel and her fighting style. the uniform was also super cool! ok top to bottom now Hat: traced dinner plates and made the head band. then the craft foam armor was glued on. the round bits were paper clay Tie: from GoodWill Dress: this has got to be the most frankenstiened thing I have ever made. the shirt part is from Good will and then cut to be the right shape. the black boob part is swim suit material cut in a kinda heart shape. the dress was a New Look halter dress pattern. I just nudged the seams over a bit so they would line up with the color changes. then black bias tape is topstiched over the seams. the little ornaments on the front are papercaly. Socks are from... my sock box I think.... Shoes are from Salvation army. they were originally red. I painted them with acrylic *stupid I know* the yellow cross is hot glued craft foam. The ankle decoration is left over dress fabric with yellow bias tape. Sleeves- blue tubes with all the details sewn on. the black cuffs are free handed with the yellow bias and the circle glued on. the silver things are craft foam. the rope-y things are stuffed velvet tubes. *I sued velvet because they always reminded me of the velvet ropes outside of clubs* Bolverk- the most challenging geometry I have done since 9th grade. they're 97% foamboard 1% foam sheet and 2% hot glue DX I had one of the artbook references and scaled the zoom so it would be about my size. then I traced it onto paper and cut out the foamboard with an excto knife. Personal Thoughts:

Yay for being about 6' in those heels! That really REALLY was not fun.
