Construction Details:

This costume was pulled together really, really last minute, but it still turned out pretty good, I think. The jumpsuit is actually an air-force flight suit that I took in to make it tighter in the legs and waist. I had my friend make me an Aperture Science stencil to print the tank top and wore it on top of a regular blue tank top. The boots were made out of a pair of old brown boots obtained from Goodwill, spray-painted white, and then painted with the black markings. The heel springs were made out of flexible window molding and attached to the back of the boots. The portal gun was actually made in two days--it was certainly a rush job, though it was surprisingly popular and I got lots of compliments on it. >w< A more detailed explanation of the gun to follow. While this costume could use a few fixes and touch-ups , I'm very pleased with the outcome.
