Construction Details:

This is based on a fanart, but I changed the design to be more like Jou underneath the hoodie. Also I didn't like the idea that only Jou had paw feet. This costume had so much hand sewing! @_@ I thought this would be really quick since it was only modifying a Jacket but it actually took so long because of the hand sewing. However since it was mainly hand sewing, I got to do most of it and my mom only helped sew a few seams after I pinned them. My sister cut the wig a bit for me. I found some velcro shoes at Wal Mart and painted them red. I bought two jackets since I couldn't find matching material. THe second was used for the tail, ears, and paws. I cut out patterns for all the spots and sewed them on by hand. I almost needed make it on material since all the fur had to go in the same direction. I'm really proud that I figured out how to make the tail with a crook and mohawk. There's a piece of cardboard in the mohawk for shape. The tail, ears, and anything purple were hand sewn on.

Personal Thoughts:

: D This was warm and fun! Everyone thought my group was cute. I want to rewear it. Sorry to those people that I hit with my tail!
