Construction Details:

I was shown "The Castle of Cagliostro" in the Summer of 2002 and instantly took a liking to Lupin and Co. It was also around that time that Adult Swim was airing the second Lupin TV series (where he wore the red jacket). For Halloween 2003, I threw together a very basic green jacket costume and was pleased with the result. It's just a plain green blazer, gold tie, black shirt, black pants, and brown shoes. Very simple. The costume saw very little action between 2005 and 2008, mainly because it's not a very noticeable costume on its own. But, now that my friends all jumped on board as the other Lupin gang members, I've dug it out and tweaked it. Specifically, I added the tie clip, found the correct gun, got a new yellow, squared off tie, and changed the black pants to navy blue. I still need to work on the iconic sideburns. I can't grow them to save my life, so we've gone with drawing them on. I'd like to do red jacket Lupin someday since I absolutely love the second series, but since I met the character while in the green jacket, that look will always be special to me.
