Construction Details:

I was reading Jack of Fables, and after the end of a big arc, Jack Frost changes in a big way - and I fell in love. At the same time, I was moving last year. I didn't have internet or phone service or anything besides just. Moving and being stressed out from moving. So I decided to make a Jack Frost costume out of the scrap fabric I had around. The only thing I actually bought was the fabric for the pants when I finally finished this up in March '10, like 6 months after I made the shirt (whoops). The shirt is all cotton with satin stitching around the rectangle-y bits in dark green, and 2 layered sleeves so that the contrast didn't show underneath - the grey sleeve also is sewn into the armhole. It's a modified Lord of the Rings pattern, haha. Belt is cotton with interfacing and the pants are ponte knit, self-patterned. I adoooooore Jack Frost, he's my forever boy. I screwed up on the makeup this time around, but I'll try to make it better next time. :D
