I suppose what can I say that will define this costume more than ambition and desire? Every since having played Ocarina of Time, I've liked the qualities portrayed as Link and have strived to recreate that. It was not my original intention to pick the name 'The-Real-Link' but it was fitting enough because I wanted to make everything real and accurate. This costume has a very long history, with parts of construction dating back to 1999 and continually being updated to this day. Although much of the original work was collaborated upon with over a dozen individuals resulting in both my handy-work as well as commissioning of sorts, more recently I have started rebuilding piece by piece myself. The cost spent and time invested are beyond tally at this point - I gave up tallying cost and hours three years ago. It is safe to say though that hours invested are in the thousands and cost is around four to five figures. A tremendous amount remains to be done, but so far it has been a wild ride getting there. It has taught me so many skills that all the headaches have in my mind, been worth it. I thought the page would break up all my detail listings but it became one giant wall of text so I removed the info. If there's something you'd like to know though, just ask.
