Construction Details:

Kyle, the GARbarian. Or something like that.
Decided to be all "fancy" and use authentic-type materials, linen-type fabrics, lots of real leather (the blue chest piece is vinyl mainly because I couldn't find leather that was (or could be made into) that color that also had the right body to it). Also, real sheep wool. I bought a rug at IKEA and cut it up.
It was a pain to sew, but it is so much nicer than fake fur...imagine that.

The boots were kind of a pain, but that's mainly because I made the mistake of treating the suede like fabric and expecting it to conform as such, so there was an uncomfortable seam across the top of my foot.

Personal Thoughts:

Man. I love the Lunar series, but especially the first game. Nash was one of my earliest costumes, and I had always wanted to do a Lunar skit. Kyle was one of my favorite characters but he just seemed out of my league at the time (plus I didn't want to wear a costume with no pants) Nearly 10 years later I was able to do so with some friends, and my cosplay inhibitions had been desensitized enough that pants were no issue! Although, I did still feel sort of half-naked at times.
