Construction Details:

The dress, shirt, and collar are all made from cotton, as the dress was described as being cotton in the novels. The dress was modified from a bodice pattern, and the skirt was free-drafted. The shirt and collar were also based on a hodge-podge of random pattern pieces, modified to work for the dress design. I dyed my hair rather than use a wig for this costume, as the wimple for the costume needs an additional comb to secure it to the head.
