My favorite time of the year has always been Halloween. Ever since I can remember I've loved dressing up. Once I started watching anime it was only natural that I would begin cosplaying. I cosplayed for several years with commissioned costumes and only started making them myself in 2011. Saber's blue battle dress was the first cosplay that I made and competed in. It didn't win that first competition, but it did win Beginner Craftmanship the second. My second costume won several awards, after I was bumped up to Master Class.
My inspirations for continuing to try new things and turn a 2-D idea into a 3-D reality are my mom, who is a Master Tailor, and Elrowiel from a local cosplay group Green Jello Cosplay, who will be representing the USA at the 2014 World Cosplay Summit!
