Construction Details:

The only modifications I needed to make were replacing the front laces (for some reason, they stopped about halfway up the top) and re-pleating the skirt with vinegar to make them hold/remove the original crease line (the factory-made pleats were pretty sloppy and unevenly spaced).

Personal Thoughts:

It took YEARS for Makoto's school uniform to grow on me, but now that my fashion tastes have matured, I LOVE IT. I purchased it with a discount from a company that's no longer around, but it's the same (beautifully made) Makoto uniform that you can purchase from multiple suppliers.
