Construction Details:

Purchased the suit from Cosplay House.
-Claude’s pants have gray stripes down the sides which were missing, so I attached gray ribbon.
-The cross tie was too long and it had a dinky costume jewel on it. AC Moore had a clear jewel that was close so I used blue nail polish and took off the circles at the top and bottom. The ends are currently the wrong shape but that’s an easy fix.
-The pocket chain was included which was nice but with no way of attaching them. I used some D ring clip things that were lying around so it could hang off of the belt loops. They’re supposed to be in his back pocket but the pants lack them. I don’t mind because they’re such a tight fit I don’t think anything could go in them. And it would hinder the view of my bum.
-White gloves were also included but they are horrendous. Dorothy’s Boutique on Mass Ave had gloves that even had the button at the wrist but I do not have large manly hands for them, so they’re a bit loose.
-There are black straps on his arms to keep his sleeves up if needed. I fashioned those out of black elastic straps.
-The shoes I use for Gilbert Nightray from Pandora Hearts but I should hunt for a pair that has more of a point.
-I paint my nails black and have them a bit long so they look more elegant. As for the seal, I didn’t have one on my hand for Anime Boston. I plan to draw or print one on something like latex.
-Props I use are tarot cards, a black rose, three gold (painted sadly) butter knives, I can’t see without my black pair of glasses so I use a $4 pair of reading glasses from Ocean State Job Lot that are spot on and deal with not seeing for the picture/video, and amber contacts for now since the correct pair Krystal ordered never arrived on time/at all.
-Krystal cut and styled a wig her roommate had used for Sebastian and had no further use for. It was done in about 3-4 hours and some extra time for the gel to dry. The one she had ordered came a week or so after AB and the quality was crap.

Personal Thoughts:

Claude has been the best character so far because I have an Alois that is very much in character.
