STEINS;GATE at OTAKON 2012
Time to go BACK TO THE FUTURE with STEINS;GATE at OTAKON 2012! Warm up those microwaves and get to hacking those gates! FUNimation is promoting the September release of Steins Gate by having a special event at Otakon!
Saturday is STEINS GATE DAY
First there will be an autograph session with the Voice Actors for Stein's Gate (Trina Nishimura & J. Michael Tatum) 4:30 - 6:00 PM, at Autograph Room 1 & 2.
After that's done, just hop on a TARDIS to time travel to the STEINS;GATE panel at 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM with Trina Nishimura & J. Michael Tatum, Video Room 5 HD!
We will also have an scavenger hunt, where you need to track down our official Steins;Gate cosplayers who are on a mission!
Okabe has a mission for you to find his friends to help complete his machine.
First stop by the FUNimation booth at the Otakon Exhibition Hall IND08.
Now you need to find the DOCTOR. Who? The mad scientist Rintarou Okabe who is creating the time machine which will save his friends!
If you are a feeble minded simpleton, make sure to ask Okabe to explain the instructions to you again.
Okabe needs three more parts or clues to finish his microwave contraption Time Machine, but those parts or clues can be found on his friends.
But THE ORGANIZATION is on the hunt, so they've all split up around Otakon to escape. Okabe needs a messenger to bring this clues back to him safely.
Be on the look out though, THE ORGANIZATION may be hunting for you too, forcing you to start over.
Okabe will show you which of his friends to look for. Get the three parts / clues and bring them back to Okabe!
Find three different official Steins;Gate cosplayers and come back to the FUNimation booth
Okabe will thank you, his new courier, with magnificent Steins;Gate swag!
Find them, get photo evidence (WITH YOU) and return to Okabe headquarters for verification.
(You can use a mobile device or a camera)
Then share your photo with the world assuming you're on a mobile device.

There will be other easier ways to claim the prize, but you'll have to stop by the FUNimation booth to find them out!
