Construction Details:

Omg, I saw this outfit on the Sunday after Season 2 aired and finished the costume that Friday, just in time for the Maryland Renaissance Festival!! I had wanted to make one of Dagmar's Season 1 outfits, but this one shook me to my core!!

Skirt is grey stretch chambray. Bodice and sleeves are two different navy blue stretch fabrics with grey dupioni detailing and black leather straps. The crown is vinyl on cardboard affixed to a headband. For the wig, I cut some length off the front tendrils and sewed the fibers into the bangs for more body and a slight widows peak, then styled the bangs in Dagmar's signature heart shape. I also made the knife sheath from black leather and it slides onto the hip belt! Earrings were made from metal blanks and I already owned the boots. I'm so pleased with how this costume came out - I'm so intrigued with Dagmar's character and what's going to happen in Season 3!!!
