Here's a costume that I've been working and reworking on and off for several years now. I used a veriety of peices from different patterns. It consists of about 10 different idividual peices. The main body is made out of satine, the pannes, sleeves and shoulders are out of crushed velvet, the gold is an old 1970's curtain, and the green is made from an old peice of liner fabric. The stomecher is made of laytex. The trims were inspired by a fan artists interpretation of the costume. After fussing with several different wigs I endded up using my own hair. The jewelry was all hand made.
