Construction Details:

I bought the corset on ebay and altered it by gluing fake leaves. The bustle is made out of cotton fabric and sewn together with green shorts (were originally leggings, but cut the legs). I also glued the vines to the thigh highs and connected them to the bustle.

The hat was made out of cardboard covered in fabric, and glued some fake flowers. I attached clips to the bottom of the hat. I used the leg pieces from the leggings for the arms and glued the vines.

This took me about 2 months to complete

Personal Thoughts:

I noticed that I mostly do anime/video game cosplays and haven't done any comic characters! I felt that this was the time to broaden my portfolio! I decided to cosplay Poison Ivy because I wanted to cosplay her for a while! This was also my first DC cosplay! I decided that it will be a great opportunity to debut her for Big Apple Comic Con and I've gotten great compliments! It was so much fun making my Poison ivy cosplay and roaming around as her!
