Construction Details:

The jacket and shirt were draped. The pants were modified from a Burda pattern. The shirt went through three mockups before the final version. The jacket has functional welt pockets and is unlined. The sleeve trim is accurate to the anime version of Unlimited Blade Works and overlaps on the large trim. The pants have functional front pockets, but no back pockets to match reference. The jacket and pants are made from a poly/cotton twill while the shirt is made from a poly/cotton poplin. The shirt shuts with snaps to maintain the closureless look from the reference.

Personal Thoughts:

A deceptively simple costume that a ton of work went into. I absolutely love the results, though, and adding another of Gil's casual outfits to my collection is always nice.

Styling Notes

Just the bangs were trimmed and separated with hair glue.
